Description
We are seeking an exceptional individual to work with us in the field of English education, as either a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer. You will be a capable, dynamic and thoughtful person who will make a significant contribution to our work, and fully engage in the intellectual life of the School. A key part of the role is teaching on our Initial Teacher Education programme.
You will have demonstrable experience in teaching (experience in teacher education is particularly welcome) and will also contribute more broadly to the School?s other teaching programmes, including supervising doctoral and masters students. You will have an emerging, developing or established international reputation for your research, and we welcome applicants who have interests that complement our existing staff. Candidates who can clearly articulate how their research and teaching interrelate are of particular interest to us, as are those who bring methodological insights.
The post is available full-time or 0.7FTE for a suitable candidate.
